What is BOM management?

Bill of Materials (BOM) management is a critical process in product development that involves organizing and managing the list of raw materials, components, and compound ingredients required to manufacture a product. At Click-PLM, we provide advanced BOM management solutions that enable users to create and then re-use recipes and compound ingredients easily within products and between products. Recipes can be seemlessly copied between similar products for fast specification completion and even the resulting ingredient declaration is automatically generated. Click-PLM is built to automatically optimse your ingredient declaration by combining ingredients so they are declared only once where needed. Ingredients that are not allowed to be used within certain countries are automatically flagged and our extensive ingredient database can also recognise ingredients that may require further information (such as Palm Oil content).
